Kia ora, I’m Rachel Taylor and I’m an experienced Registered Nurse with clinical experience across Canterbury, including Medical, Surgical, rehabilitation in Older Persons Health, and community based care.
Alongside my passion for tailoring individual need to maximise independence within the older cohort, additionally I provide a dedicated foot care service enabling mobility, independence, and healthy comfortable feet.
I witness daily effects of poor foot and nail health on daily life. Painful and/or neglected feet can make walking uncomfortable, reduce independence and confidence and lead to serious complications. It can be a struggle to access professional foot care, especially older adults or those with mobility challenges. TaylorMaid was created to fill that gap.
My approach is calm, respectful, and centered around comfort, dignity, and prevention.
